Born and raised in Charleston,
Russell’s love and respect for the Lowcountry has kept him here as he and his wife Tara work and raise their three young children, Aiken (10), Myers (9), and Lila (6), with their springer spaniel, Georgia.
Russell has the necessary political experience to serve. He was a U.S. Senate page for Senator Strom Thurmond.
For years, Russell Guerard has fought hard to take back our government from the Big Government special interests and empower hard-working families to grow and succeed. Volunteers are essential for fueling efforts! Take action today and join fellow conservatives as we continue to put power back in the hands of South Carolina’s hard-working taxpayers.
Summers spent at Rockville, boating, fishing, and enjoying all that the Bohicket River and Wadmalaw Island have to offer, and winters spent hunting dove and duck from Georgetown down to the Combahee River have given Russell a true appreciation for the Lowcountry. He will work diligently to preserve this perfect way of life for future generations.
As a graduate of the College of Charleston, Russell has been in the real estate business since 1997. Before that, he opened and served as the general manager of Daniel Island Marina, a drystack/wetslip facility. Russell has been on the Board of Directors of the Preservation Society and is a current board member of the Huguenot Society and Trident Academy.
